Kayleigh + Nick | O’Brien Barn Wedding | Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Kayleigh and Nick were the first couple to book me when I made the decision to move to Wisconsin. Coincidentally they have been one of my favorite couples ever, and now I’m a little bit sad that their wedding is over. Their big day was absolutely wonderful in every way and I’m so glad I was there to capture all of the moments (along with some help from the amazing Amy Erickson as my second photographer!). I think my favorite part of the day was at the reception. A little back story, Nick is a police officer, and met Kayleigh when he pulled her over one night for a burnt out license plate light. So, they somehow got ahold of the dashboard camera footage from the police car that night, and now have video of the very first time they ever met (how cool is that?). But anyways, they played the video at the reception for everyone to see for the first time, and it was so great. The love these two have for eachother is so beautiful, I’m so glad they chose me to capture it. I literally had to direct them what to do for photos like twice the entire day. They are so comfortable infront of the camera, and they just know exactly what to do. It’s rare and crazy and they made my job so easy. (sorry, I feel like I might be gushing a little) Aaaaanyways you should probably just look at the photos of some pretty people and this gorgeous wedding day.
