Janelle + Mike | Madison Children’s Museum | Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

Sep 24, 2015

Janelle and Mike were so laid back about everything from the very beginning of the planning process, and that didn’t change once we got to the big day. I started out with the ladies at the cutest air bnb house in Madison, just a 5 minute ride from the venue! I walked in and it was seroiusly right out of a magazine. My lovely second photographer, Erin hung out with the guys until we all met up for the first look at the classic, Wisconsin Capitol building. It was a beautiful fall day, and only slightly chilly! We wandered around the Capitol square a bit until heading over to the Madison Children’s museum for some family photos and to hang out before the ceremony. Janelle and Mike wanted to maximize the time they spent with their guests, and of course the fun, so they opted to start their cocktail hour before the ceremony! They drank, laughed, and ate delicious appetizers before heading over to a beautiful corner of the rooftop for an informal ceremony at dusk. After the ceremony, they enjoyed a little more of cocktail hour before heading downstairs to warm up with some good food and conversation. I had so much fun being there to witness and capture such a fun and exciting day for these two! Enjoy this sneak peak of all the festivities!
