You guys I’m SO excited to share this post with you! A friend of mine in Chicago, Jerrie, has started up her own side business and she reached out to me for opinions since I’m in the wedding business, and her target audience is going to be brides! So of course when I learned more about what she was planning (flower crowns? yes please!) I offered to take some photos for her to help her get her etsy page up and running with some nice photos of her beautiful products. She literally makes every single item from scratch, and I can’t believe how amazing everything has turned out!
Meet Jerrie!
Isn’t she just the cutest! We had so much fun taking some headshots in the pretty evening Chicago light!
Here’s a little blurb from her about how she got started and what she’s offering:
“Hey lovelies,
I got married a little over a year ago and during the planning process I fell in love with hand crafting small touches for myself and my bridal party. I was raised by two very creative parents; my father was a carpenter and my mother is a prolific quilter. There were more craft spaces than bedrooms in my home and that’s just the way I like it! Needless to say, I finally caught the DIY craft bug and I’m excited to share it with you!
While a lot of the items you’ll see are wedding-inspired, they are certainly multifunctional. I’ve made flower crowns for everything from music festivals to romantic, evening weddings. If you see something and fall in love, feel free to ask me more about it! I’m definitely open to creating custom items as well, so don’t hesitate to reach out.”
