I’ve known Stephanie since my freshman year of college, and she started dating Natalie when we all worked together at the Columbia College Chicago photo studio! It has been so fun to watch these two grow together as a couple. These two are the couple I’ve been friends with the longest (which is crazypants), and I cannot wait for them to get married next fall! Since I’ve moved to Madison, I haven’t seen these two in a LONG time, so I finally made plans to stay with them while I was in town for a wedding last weekend. I love my friendship with these two because no matter how long we go without seeing each other, it’s as if no time has passed at all. They’re just easy to be around. Natalie had been planning to ask Steph to marry her for a few months, and I knew about it, but sadly couldn’t make it for the big surprise (wedding photographer life… always busy on the weekends!), so I knew I was going to ask them if they wanted to do some engagement photos while I was in town, and was so excited when Nat popped the question and of course, Steph said YES! 😀 So we did a low key engagement session this past Sunday in their apartment with their cats (we tried to get a photo with all of them, but they weren’t having it, so we made do), and then took a little walk outside their apartment for some more photos in the park across the street. I could seriously photograph these two all day long, and I think you’ll see why when you scroll down! 🙂
