Susan and Jeremy are high school sweethearts, so they’ve been together for a long time. They are so comfortable with each other, so it was a pleasure to photograph these two. They are down to earth and laid back. They love the outdoors, so they wanted to pick a location that reflected that. There are lots of spots up north that they absolutely love, but they decided on Mirror Lake State Park because it was a bit closer to us. None of us had ever been there before (it’s basically a miracle that we found each other when we were meeting up hah!), so it was a blast getting to walk around and explore with them. They were up for anything I asked, which is always super fun. We had a bit of a gray day, but it was perfect fall weather, and the forest smelled like pine and fall happiness. I loved hanging out with these two and I can’t wait for their big day coming up in June!
