Katy + Shane | Madison Public Library Wedding

Katy and Shane’s wedding day was one for the books (pun not intended??). The rain came down for the whole day, but they picked the most perfect venue for their rainy day wedding. The Madison Public Library was gorgeous, the overcast daylight poured in through the floor to ceiling windows, and reflected off the bright white walls to make the day a photographer’s dream. Not only was it beautiful, but the rain made us just hang out and relax, and explore the library instead of traveling around Madison like we had originally planned. The laid back rain plan was much more Katy and Shane’s style anyways, and they were so happy to just have the day to enjoy each other and their friends and family. They met in Madison, but now live out in California, so they wanted to come back to where it all started and show their friends and family the town they fell in love with. It was a day full of happiness and love, and we even got to go outside to some pretty cool misty skies for some end of the night shots when the rain had finally let up. I’m so excited to share this wedding day with you all!
