We’re taking a quick break from the “Best of 2017” posts to look back on Sarah and Justin’s amaaaazing engagement session at Salvage One in Chicago this past summer! Sarah and I met at Columbia College when we had a few photo classes together! We were never close, but we’ve been facebook friends throughout the years, and it’s been so fun to follow along with her and Justin’s journey together! When I saw they got engaged, I secretly hoped that she would reach out, so when she did I was SO thrilled. These two are absolutely perfect together, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed more during a session, they were just so much fun together. They will be getting married in this very location this coming October, and after getting to explore every nook and cranny of this incredible venue, theirs is definitely one of my most anticipated weddings this year! It’s such a cool space, so we utilized a whoooole lot of it before heading out to Busse Woods closer to where they live to end the day. It was drizzling like the entire last part of the session, but Sarah and Justin were such troopers and it didn’t phase them a bit (especially considering we had already been shooting for quite a while and it was a toasty August day haha!). I’m so excited to share these images with you! I had so many favorites, so narrowing it down to just these was not an easy task 🙂 Enjoy!
