I first met with Rasika and Aravindh last fall to do their engagement photos and felt immediately comfortable with them. They weren’t really sure what their wedding plans would be at that time with covid since they have so much family in India. They talked about eloping, but ultimately decided to have a small Indian wedding with the family and friends that were able to make it, and live streamed the whole ceremony for their family and friends from afar who were not able to be there in person (including Aravindh’s parents… if you notice the big iMac in the ceremony setup, that’s them)! I was so happy when they reached out to see if I could photograph their wedding day! Rasika is a photographer herself, so it’s always the biggest compliment when another photographer chooses me to be the one to capture such a special day. We met up for coffee before the wedding so that they could give me a general rundown of the ceremony since it’s been quite a while since I did an Indian wedding! The ceremony was full of so much tradition, fun, color and love, it was a blast to photograph. I can’t wait to see where life takes these two next!
