I first met Mary and Owen a few years back when I photographed a wedding that Mary was in! (you might recognize one of her bridesmaids if you’ve been following along with me for a while) Owen spent some time as a wedding photographer himself, and has a great eye for art, so when they reached out to me to be their wedding photographer, I was thrilled! These two were so laid back, when we saw there was rain in the forecast the week of, they changed plans a bit, but when that forecasted rain started turning to forecasted SNOW, we honestly just kind of stopped planning and decided to go with the flow. We had a rain plan and a good weather plan, and we ended up blending the two! The crazy snow held off long enough that we just had some light snow for the wedding party photos, and then when the blizzard-like snow appeared, you know I had to pull them away from cocktail hour just for a few quick shots! You’ve gotta commemorate this kind of crazy weather on your spring wedding day, right??? Annnnyways, this was a day to remember with lots of emotion, smiles, and some killer dance moves. Here are some of my favorite moments from Mary and Owen’s wedding day in Milwaukee!
