Wisconsin wedding photography at Horticultural Hall in Lake Geneva
Going back to blog a few weddings from over these past years that I’ve done such a bad job at blogging and of COURSE I had to include this stunner of a day! The Wisconsin Historical Society will always hold a special place in my heart because I had my own wedding ceremony there. It’s […]
What a dayyyyyy. If you follow me, you’ll know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve updated the blog. With social media, it really just feels like an extra thing to do, but taking the time to do a full post on a wedding day really brings me back to why I love what I […]
It was a cold Wisconsin day for Emma and Dan’s early November wedding, but the cold didn’t phase them and they had love to keep them warm (sorry, I can’t help the cheese, I’m a wedding photographer 😉 I think the Madison Public Library is one of my very favorite venues in Madison. You just […]
I have known Lauren and Kyle for a LONG time. Lauren and I met in college when we lived in the same dorm. She and Kyle met in a class right away, so I was around for so much of the beginning stages of their story, it’s truly surreal getting to photograph their wedding day! […]
These two got married on a rainy March Saturday at one of the most beautiful Madison, Wisconsin wedding venues, The Tinsmith.
Hannah and Eric had the sweetest wedding day with only their immediate family and closest friends at the Edgewater in February. It was the perfect day, the sun was shining and even though we still had snow on the ground, the air was finally starting to feel like spring was on the horizon. Hannah got ready in the beautiful Governor’s Suite at the Edgewater Hotel, and Eric got ready with his dad and brother a few floors below. The suite is just such a beautiful space, it was the perfect spot for a first look on a chilly day. We drove down the street to James Madison Park for a few more photos, and then headed back to warm up at the Edgewater before their ceremony in the Sky Bar. They lucked out with a beautiful sunset that we took advantage of for photos after their ceremony and first dance! Then it was time for cocktail hour and dinner in the Wine Room which was set up as beautifully as I’ve ever seen it. I loved capturing this intimate wedding day and wish this sweet couple the very best in the next chapter of life together!
Today we are turning back the clock to relive Zane and Keith’s micro wedding from last May! Somehow I missed blogging them last year, but it was an absolute stunner of a day so I neeeeeed you to see the beauty! This was not your traditional wedding day, so I met up with the bride and groom together at James Madison Park for some drizzly but VERY cool portraits to start the day. We hopped into a car and went over to the Capitol for a few more shots before we headed inside Ellsworth Block, their beautiful micro wedding venue for more portraits until it was time to get ready for the ceremony. Zane’s family was unable to be in attendance physically at the wedding as she is from overseas, so they watched virtually, and then Keith surprised Zane with some special time to zoom with them privately after the ceremony ended. It was such a sweet day and it was beyond an honor to capture the love!
