Sarah and Nick are such a great pair. They are laid back and so easy to just be around. They compliment each other perfectly. When I first met them, Sarah told me about how nervous she was to have her photo taken. Both she and Nick told me that she tends to get this really intense face when a camera is pointed at her. I’ve worked with some awkward couples before, and people who think they aren’t photogenic, so I wasn’t super worried about it. Everyone feels weird in front of the camera, but when you have your true love there with you, after the awkwardness subsides, you get used to it, and it’s easy to fall into being yourselves. Sarah and Nick’s first date was just the two of them cooking dinner and watching a movie at home, so we did some day in the life type photos with them just cooking together and hanging out in their apartment. I love sessions like this, because it means so much more to be photographed somewhere that you spend a lot of time. So just hanging out at their place was a good way to warm up before we headed outside for the rest of the session! They have some awesome trails, just across the street, and it was an absolutely gorgeous fall day. Nick was amazing at keeping Sarah laughing and not thinking about the camera, it made my job so easy, I hardly had to tell them what to do! I loved being with these two in their natural environment and getting to know them better. I cannot wait for their wedding next September at The Barn at Windy Pine!
Love is a wonderful thing. I am so happy you have found it.
